Isometric Grid
By William Morris on
8/24/2011 7:42 PM
After years of leeching valuable learning and tools from the internet I'm finally ready to give back. For a recent project I created an
isometric
illustrator grid by reproducing and distributing a hexagon across the canvas.
To use this tool enable "Smart Guides" This will allow your artwork to snap to the grid and create objects consistent to that perspective. This is a useful tool for mechanical drawings and creation of icons.

Congratulations to all the artists that presented this year at the Illinois State Fair exhibition at the Artisans building.
I was honored to have both my submissions (
"Murder"
,
"Hillbilliesatva")
juried into the show and especially to have received 1st place in the digital art catagory for the Hill Billy piece.
A special thanks as always to Kim Jones at PSC digital for her quality giclee work. And a very special thanks to Jim Edgecomb and
Felicia Olin
who told me about the contest and helped me transport my work.
Adjacent was the "Amateur" show. Who could tell? These youngens were good. Some of my fav pieces were therein.
